"We have booked more nights initially, but our plan was disrupted by the typhoon unfortunately. Kudos to hotel to be willing to accommodate to our booking twice. Room is too dim for my liking, but housekeeping staff is helpful to my request. Convenient location that our favourite 莱莱小笼包 and 双喜甜品 is just a corner away. You just need to head down n the whole shopping street is right in front"
yihotel (Shanghai Lujiazui Riverside Center Expo Park Branch)
"A busy hotel. Clean and well maintained. Has a washer in the room. Staff very helpful and friendly. Steps away from Huangpu River. Walking distance from bus stops. Gorgeous city view from the top deck at night."

Amara Shanghai
"The hotel could be a bit cleaner. The carpets in the room should honestly be replaced or properly cleaned, they were really dirty and gave the room a weird smell. The first room I got at check in was below what I expected for the price, and it even smelled like someone had been smoking in there or it just had not been cleaned properly. I asked to change rooms and the manager was very pleasant and helpful, a genuinely warm person. The second room was definitely better and smelled clean, even though the carpet still had noticeable stains. Breakfast was great, lots of variety and it also caters well to western tastes, so 10 out of 10 for that. The location is perfect and the staff are friendly and welcoming."
Zhongjing Hengtai Hotel (Zhenbei Road Metro Station Branch)
"Quite clean."
Youli Hotel (Shanghai People's Square)
"Great location, very convenient for exploring the city. The metro station is nearby, as well as Nanjing Road and Yu Garden (which is about 1.5 km away). The hotel was clean and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay."

Sanyin Hotel
"The hotel is a bit old, but the surrounding facilities are complete, and there's a supermarket across the street. It's very cost-effective. I stayed for two days. The air conditioning in the room I stayed in on the first day wasn't very effective at heating, so I was changed to a slightly better room."
Intercity Hotel Shanghai Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street The Bund
"Great stay in the hotel for 5nights. Hotel is clean and everything is so good."
JI Hotel (Shanghai Jinshan Wanda)
"Hotel was okay, humidity is very high in the room."
Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai New World
"The hotel location is good. You can walk to shopping mall, metro station easily. Staff can speak English."
Ginco Hotel
"Originally booked a king size room but found it too small as not much space to open our luggages. We decided to top-up S$130/4N to upgrade to their suite room. It’s much spacious with a bathtub, separate toilet and standing shower. Hotel environment is very zen style, feels very comfortable and relax. Breakfast is buffet style with very little options. Everyday is the same 😅 There’s a self-service Landry room with 2 washer and 2 dryers. We didn’t have to wait to use the machines during our stay which is a plus 😊 There’s a parcel collection area juz outside the lobby reception. There’s a welcome combo meal set for every room booked. The meal set looks very appealing but taste is juz average. Location is not very near to mrt. About 7mins walk to Changping station and 12mins walk to Jing’an station and temple. Overall is a nice and comfy stay but location is not exactly ideal."
Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai
"The location is excellent, offering views of the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Huangpu River. It's incredibly close to the Oriental Pearl Tower, about 500m away, and right next to the Ocean Aquarium, all within walking distance. This is an older, well-established hotel, and while the facilities are a bit dated, the cleanliness is up to par. The breakfast spread is very rich; it's the most variety I've ever seen at a hotel breakfast. The staff are all very polite, and I'd like to specially mention Jamie, who provided exceptional service. Five-star review!"

Chuxin Moshe Hotel (Shanghai International Tourism Resort)
"The experience was beyond expectations, the exterior of the hotel is quiet, the surrounding food is gathered, eating is very easy, and it is also very convenient to take a taxi to various places. The cleanliness of the room is impeccable, the floor and bathroom area are as clean as new, and there is no odor. The toiletries provided by the hotel are of high quality, gentle and easy to use, which shows that the owner is very attentive. Excellent location, clean and comfortable living, washing and nursing configuration is also a plus, the overall cost performance is online, it is worth recommending to friends who travel."
Shanghai Marriott Hotel Songjiang
"I arrived very late for my check-in, and I have to give a special shout-out to Manager Zong at the front desk! She was incredibly efficient even late at night, handling everything with a gentle and polite demeanor. She patiently explained breakfast times and hotel amenities, and even when I had questions later in the night, she answered them thoroughly. Her service was truly professional, making me feel completely at ease despite the late hour. Overall, it was a perfect experience, definitely deserving of a five-star rating!"
InterContinental Hotels SHANGHAI HONGQIAO NECC by IHG
"My stay at the InterContinental Shanghai NECC was an amazing experience! The staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. The Guest Relations specialist even called me in advance to confirm my check-in needs, and they followed up promptly whenever I had questions. During the exhibition, the lobby signage was clear, and any queries or requests for directions were handled quickly and efficiently. The room was spotless, well-equipped, and the overall environment felt high-end and comfortable. I had no negative experiences throughout my stay; the service was responsive, effectively preventing any potential check-in issues. It's definitely my top choice for exhibitions, and I'll choose this hotel again for future events!"
Novotel Shanghai Clover
"Thank you so much for the hospitality. Breakfast taste is average but the service is really excellent. Free shuttle really helps you a lot."
Kimpton Nine Trees Shanghai
"So lucky! I became the 'top player' at the Kimpton Qiaotou Art Center Hotel! As a parent who loves taking my kids to hotels, I was so excited! It's so close to home! A 10-minute drive, and we can switch into vacation mode with the kids. **Environment**: The transportation is very convenient, right next to the Qiaotou Art Center. It's perfect for families with kids if you're coming for a show or exploring the Shanghai Fish area. The hotel has many outdoor areas, including a beautiful 'mini Monet garden' that really touched me with its details. Fengxian truly excels in its ecological efforts. On rainy days, you can see small snails and frogs, and the kids loved exploring. You can even spot small hedgehogs on the roads around Shanghai Fish. **Facilities**: For family trips, the children's needs are paramount. The hotel has an indoor children's pool. We booked a courtyard hot spring room and got upgraded to a suite. We confirmed with the butler a day in advance that we had two kids, and they thoughtfully prepared children's toiletries and slippers. This attention to detail was truly impressive. The room also had a small step stool and a sink for babies. Due to time constraints, it's a bit of a shame we didn't get to experience the small climbing wall in the children's center or the late-night bar time for parents. **Service**: I have to say, the service is top-notch! Especially our butler, Miss Zhou Ling, who was incredibly gentle and patient. Also, the ladies in the Chinese restaurant were so thoughtful; when our baby fell asleep during dinner, they kindly rearranged the order of dishes. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious. Because our baby was particularly mischievous, the front desk attendant was quick to provide a first-aid kit to disinfect a small wound. In the afternoon, there was a 'social highlight' with juice and cookies, which the babies loved. The evening turndown service attendant was also very kind, and there were afternoon tea snacks, welcome fruits, and cookies. **Hygiene**: It was visibly very clean, which is a big concern with a baby, especially regarding hand hygiene. The toilet layout was quite reasonable. I just wish there were tissues on the tables in the restaurant. The Chinese restaurant had quite a few mosquitoes in the evening, so I hope that can be improved. Even with the electric mosquito repellent plugged in, the mosquitoes in the room were quite resilient. Two small frogs suddenly appeared in the hot spring pool at night, which made the children very sad. I also hope they can add more trash cans in the wet areas of the room. Highly recommended! Highly recommended! Highly recommended! Easy to manage the kids, freeing up your hands – the experience is definitely excellent! The only thing that felt a bit lacking was the all-day dining buffet breakfast. The yogurt selection was a bit repetitive, and the wontons didn't taste particularly fresh. I'm a big food lover. The pizza was creative and unique, perfect for adults. Perhaps my baby was too young for spicy food. The pasta, however, was quite good."
Mövenpick by Accor Shanghai People's Square
"Prompt and seamless check-in. Service was excellent and staff was very helpful. Room is equipped with plenty international power socket with usb and usb-c ports which are very useful. Hotel is located at walking distance to the bustling Nanjing road pedestrian street. Highly recommended!"
